(1) Upon the recommendation of the Washington State Horticultural Association's cherry committee, the director may waive the container requirements in WAC
16-414-085 and allow the use of experimental containers for the purpose of test or trial marketing.
(2) Cherries placed in experimental containers:
(a) Must meet the quality requirements of Washington No. 1, U.S. No. 1, or Northwest No. 1 grade; and
(b) At least ninety percent, by count, must measure at least 54/64 inches in diameter.
