Accuracy—Temperature measuring devices, food (2009 FDA Food Code 4-203.11).
(1) foodtemperature measuring devices that are scaled only in Celsius or dually scaled in Celsius and Fahrenheit must be accurate to ± 1°C in the intended range of use.
(2) foodtemperature measuring devices that are scaled only in Fahrenheit must be accurate to ± 2°F in the intended range of use.
