(1) These rules apply only to assisted living facilities licensed under chapter 18.20 RCW, or assisted living facilities located within the boundaries of a federally recognized Indian reservation and licensed by a tribe, that contract with the department to provide assisted living services, enhanced adult residential care, enhanced adult residential care-specialized dementia care services, or adult residential care.

(2) Only services provided to or on behalf of the assisted living services, enhanced adult residential care, enhanced adult residential care-specialized dementia care services, or adult residential care resident, and paid for fully or partially by the department shall be subject to these rules.
