The purpose of this chapter is to implement chapter 70.335 RCW by establishing an online public registry and all necessary requirements for registered blood-collecting or distributing blood establishments or organizations that supply blood products for allogeneic transfusion in Washington state. This public registry of Washington state registered blood establishments is intended to help ensure public transparency, trust, and confidence in the safety of the community blood supply.
