Washington participates in the NAIC Uniform Continuing Education Reciprocity Agreement. Generally, a continuing insurance education course approved by a participating state will be accepted by this state by submitting the NAIC Uniform Continuing Education Reciprocity Course filing form and any required attachments.
(1) An insurance education provider must be qualified as an approved provider in this state.
(2) A standard course filing form, available on the commissioner's website or through the NAIC, will be acceptable for reciprocity filings.
(3) Participation in the NAIC Uniform Continuing Education Reciprocity Agreement does not change this state's standards for insurance education providers.
