(1) The exposed wall adjacent to the cooking range, must be fifty flame-spread or less, such as 5/16 inch gypsum board or material having equivalent fire protective properties.
(2) All openings for pipes and vents in furnace and water heater spaces shall be tight-fitted or fire-stopped.
