Certified manufactured home installers must complete a minimum of four credit hours of continuing education every three years. The continuing education credit hours may be satisfied by attending an annual class offered by the department or a class offered by an alternative education provider approved by the department pursuant to chapter
296-150I WAC. All fees required by WAC
296-150I-3000 for continuing education classes must be paid to the department in advance.
(1) Continuing education class curriculum will include statute, code, or rule changes and common installation problems.
(2) If a certified installer is unable to attend the continuing education classes offered by the department or alternative education provider, the installer may attend a regularly scheduled installer certification training course.
