(1) Upon receipt of a notice of appeal which complies with the requirements of these regulations, the board shall mail written notice to each party of the primary and, if applicable, the secondary hearing dates. The notice or scheduling letter will identify the case to be heard, the identity of the parties and the time and location of the hearing. The letter shall also state that an interpreter can be made available upon reasonable notice to the board for any witness or party who is hearing impaired or who does not speak English.
(2) The letter may set out a filing schedule for motions and prehearing briefs. Where the presiding officer decides to hold a prehearing conference, the letter shall also state the date, time and location of the prehearing conference.
