What if a requester disputes production time estimates?

If a requester thinks DSHS's time estimate for producing records under chapter 42.56 RCW is unreasonable, the requester may:

(1) Petition the public records coordinator to reduce the time estimate; or

(2) File a lawsuit in superior court under RCW 42.56.550(2).
