The department will calculate your individual budget amount after you are assigned a number of monthly hours resulting from completion of the comprehensive assessment reporting and evaluation tool, CARE. The calculation will be based on the average wage, including a mileage allowance, as determined by the collective bargaining agreement for individual provider personal care multiplied by the number of units generated by the assessment, multiplied by a factor of .93, plus an amount equal to the average per participant expenditures for nonpersonal care supports purchased in the COPES waiver.
