Supported employment exists to support individuals with the most significant disabilities who need intensive services and supports to achieve an employment outcome. Employment outcomes in supported employment are:
(1) Competitive integrated employment, including customized employment, as described in WAC
388-891A-0010(2); or
(2) Employment that is consistent with your unique strengths, resources, priorities, concerns, abilities, capabilities, interests, and informed choice in an integrated setting while you work on a short-term basis toward a competitive wage.
