A student is eligible for the GPA comparison option if the student meets the following conditions:
(1) The student has taken the applicable component of the state high school assessment at least once and has not met the standard for which the student is applying to use this option. To meet these criteria, a student must have a recorded valid attempt of the general high school assessment.
(2) The student is in the twelfth grade.
(3) The student has a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher when the application is submitted.
