The definitions in this section apply throughout this chapter unless the context clearly requires otherwise:

(1) "Chair" means the chair of the authority.

(2) "Authority" means the tobacco settlement authority established pursuant to chapter 365, Laws of 2002. Where appropriate, the term "authority" also refers to the staff and employees of the authority.
