NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETINGS
WORKFORCE TRAINING AND
EDUCATION COORDINATING BOARD
[Memorandum--February 28, 1997]
March 24, 1997, New Market Vocational Skills Center, 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.,
the Workforce Training and Education Coordinating Board will hold an
informal dinner meeting and discuss the work involved in designing the
certificate of mastery. No action will be taken.
March 25, 1997, New Market Vocational Skills Center, 8:30 a.m. - 3:00
p.m., the Workforce Training and Education Coordinating Board will hold
a meeting on March 25, 1997, at the New Market Vocational Skills Center,
Tumwater, Washington. The board will take final action on school-to-work
goals and indicators, the performance management for continuous
improvement (PMCI) data agreements, and on the workforce improvement team
(WIT) recommendations. In addition, the board will review and discuss
the following: Regional alliances; workforce training system net
impact/cost benefit evaluation (Battelle); JTPA summer youth evaluation;
and the final report on the private career school evaluation.
