Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: Rule making is being considered for Rule 228 to incorporate provisions of chapter 149, Laws of 1996, chapter 157, Laws of 1997, and chapter 54, Laws of 1998.

Rule 229 needs to be revised to incorporate provisions of chapter 157, Laws of 1997.

Process for Developing New Rule: Modified negotiated rule making.

Interested parties can participate in the decision to adopt the new rule and formulation of the proposed rule before publication.
