((Board meetings, officers.)) What is the board's meeting schedule and how are officers elected?

((An annual meeting of the board shall be held in December each year.  At least six other meetings shall be held each year, normally in the months of February, April, June, August, October, and November.  Such regular board meetings will normally be on the last Friday of the month, with the exceptions of November and December meetings which shall normally be on the third Friday of the month.  The chair or a quorum of the board shall have the authority to call meetings of the board.  The board shall follow and apply the rules of procedure, chapter 34.05 RCW, as regards to notice and conduct of meetings.

At the annual meeting the board shall elect from among its members the chair, vice-chair, and secretary.  The officers shall assume the duties of their respective offices at the conclusion of the annual meeting at which they were elected.  They shall serve a term of one year, but shall be eligible for reelection for an additional term.

The chair or, in the event of the chair's absence or inability to act, the vice-chair shall preside at all meetings of the board.  Other duties of the officers shall be such as the board may from time to time determine.)) The board meets from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the last Friday of the month in the months of January, April, July and October. Additionally, the board holds an annual meeting, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., on the third Friday of December.

At the annual meeting the board elects the chair, vice-chair, and secretary from its members. The newly elected officers assume the duties of their offices at the conclusion of the meeting and serve a term of one year. Officers can be reelected for one additional term.

Either the chair or a quorum of the board has the authority to call meetings of the board. The board complies with the rules of procedure, chapter 42.30 RCW, in regards to notice and conduct of meetings. The chair presides at all meetings. In the event of the chair's absence or inability to act, the vice-chair presides. The board determines other duties of the officers.
