EMERGENCY RULES
FISH AND WILDLIFE
Date of Adoption: August 29, 2000.
Purpose: Amend personal use rules.
Citation of Existing Rules Affected by this Order: Repealing WAC 232-12-61900Q; and amending WAC 232-12-619.
Statutory Authority for Adoption: RCW 77.12.047.
Under RCW 34.05.350 the agency for good cause finds that immediate adoption, amendment, or repeal of a rule is necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety, or general welfare, and that observing the time requirements of notice and opportunity to comment upon adoption of a permanent rule would be contrary to the public interest.
Reasons for this Finding: This regulation is necessary for increased opportunity to harvest 4000 trout that have been planted in the Lewis River Power Canal. These fish need to be harvested by the end of the season on October 31, 2000. There is insufficient time to promulgate permanent rules.

Notwithstanding the provisions of WAC 232-12-619, effective immediately through October 31, 2000 the daily limit is five trout in the Lewis River Power Canal (Swift Power Canal) on the west end of Swift Reservoir.
