Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: Addition of species and infested waters will reduce the impact of invasive aquatic species.
Other Federal and State Agencies that Regulate this Subject and the Process Coordinating the Rule with These Agencies: The Washington Department of Agriculture regulates aquatic plants and will be consulted though the Aquatic Nuisance Species Committee.
Process for Developing New Rule: Agency study.
