] In accordance with RCW 34.05.314, following is a copy of
the Office of Financial Management's semiannual agenda for
rules under development.
Semiannual Agenda for Rules Under DevelopmentJanuary 2005 - June 2005
In August 2004, the Office of Financial Management (OFM)
began rule-making activities regarding chapter 236-22 WAC,
Local government insurance transactions. Recently enacted
statutes dealing with local government self-insurance risk
pools have given rise to a need to update this chapter. In
addition, this chapter was originally enacted by the state
risk manager when the risk management function was a part of
the Department of General Administration. The risk management
function is now under the authority of OFM. So, in addition
to updating the chapter rules to reflect changes in the local
government self-insurance risk pool statutes, the rules will
be moved to Title 82 WAC, the title that contains all OFM
