] The office of farmland preservation was created by the
legislature in the 2007 session. This is an act relating to
farmland preservation; amending RCW 89.08.530 and 89.08.540;
adding a new section to chapter 90.84 RCW; adding a new
chapter to Title 89 RCW; providing an expiration date; and
declaring an emergency. The task force was created within the
Washington state conservation commission. The first meeting of the farmland preservation task force
is scheduled for December 5, 2007, at 9:00 a.m., at the J. A.
Cherberg Building, Room 115, 304 15th, Olympia, WA.
