Semi-Annual Agenda for Rules Under Development

DIVISION OF BANKS

•     Possible amendments to chapters 208-544 and 208-586 WAC regarding a bank fee increase and a change in how fees are charged in FY 2008 and FY 2009, depending on completing requirements for two-thirds legislative approval.

DIVISION OF CONSUMER SERVICES

•     Amendments to chapter 208-630 WAC relating to check casher and sellers. Annual reporting requirements.

•     Finalize amendments to chapter 208-660 WAC relating to mortgage brokers and loan originators. Implementing guidance on nontraditional loan products and other various amendments.

•     Amendments to chapter 208-620 WAC relating to consumer loan companies. Adopting guidance on nontraditional loan products, a national licensing database, and other various amendments.

DIVISION OF CREDIT UNIONS

•     Possible amendments to chapter 208-418 WAC regarding a credit union fee increase in FY 2008, depending on completing requirements for two-thirds legislative approval.

•     Amendments to chapter 208-436 WAC, investment authority modernization.

•     Possible new rule regarding participation loans (RCW 31.12.426(1)).

DIVISION OF SECURITIES

•     Amendments to chapter 460-24A WAC regarding misleading use of professional designations by broker-dealers, investment advisers, and their representatives.

•     Amending chapter 460-24A WAC regarding use of professional designations and investment adviser registration.

•     Amending chapter 460-16A WAC to adopt North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA) Statements of Policy.

•     Amending chapter 460-44A WAC to accommodate revisions to federal Regulation D and Form D.

•     Adopting rules pursuant to RCW 43.320.115 governing the administration of the securities prosecution fund.
