NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETINGS

RECREATION AND CONSERVATION

     The recreation and conservation funding board (RCFB) will meet Thursday, June 19 and Friday, June 20, at the Bellingham Cruise Terminal, 355 Harris Avenue, Bellingham, WA.

     The focus of this regular business meeting will be the nonhighway and off-road vehicle activities program (NOVA) noise enforcement grant award and conversion of Lynnwood Community Athletic Field. The board will also discuss and make policy decisions on mitigation banking, sale of farmland through the Washington wildlife and recreation program (WWRP), "do not fund" project recommendations, and awarding of remaining funds for the boating activities program.

     If you plan to participate or have materials for board review, please submit information to the recreation and conservation office (RCO) no later than June 3, 2008. This will allow for distribution to board members in a timely fashion.
