] I hereby direct that Washington state and United States
flags at all state agency facilities be lowered to half-staff
on Thursday, October 30, 2008, in memory of U.S. Army Major
Robert D. Lindenau of Camano Island who was killed in action
on October 20, in Charbagh, Afghanistan. Please notify your staff and all of your field offices
and facilities around the state.
Flags should remain at half-staff until sunset Thursday
or first thing Friday morning, October 31.
Other government entities, citizens and businesses are
encouraged to join this recognition.
