] I hereby direct that Washington state and United States
flags at all state agency facilities be lowered to half-staff
on Thursday, July 9, 2009, in memory of U.S. Army Private
Aaron Fairbairn, 21, of Aberdeen, who died on July 4, in
Afghanistan, from injuries sustained from a truck bombing. Please notify your staff and all of your field offices
and facilities around the state.
Flags should remain at half-staff until close of business
on Thursday, or first thing Friday morning.
Other government entities, citizens and businesses are
encouraged to join this recognition.
