     All portions of this meeting are open to the public.

     This meeting will be accessible for those who use American Sign Language.

     The Washington state rehabilitation council is a group of fifteen volunteers who the governor has asked to make sure that the division of vocational rehabilitation (DVR) is providing good services that help people get and keep jobs they like. Our members meet each quarter. This quarter we are meeting in SeaTac.

     Meeting discussions will include:

•     Meeting of five council subcommittees for the purpose of advancing work goals;

•     The meeting of the employer and rehabilitation subcommittee will include John Evans, employer relations manager for DVR;

•     The client assistance program will provide training to council members on factors DVR counselors use to determine eligibility;

•     Customer forum from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.

     PUBLIC TRANSIT INFO: The SeaTac light rail station is located near the northeast corner of the main airport parking garage, just west of the corner of the intersection of South 176th Street and International Boulevard. It directly connects pedestrians to the airport ticketing concourse and SeaTac's City Center. The walk from the light rail station to the airport terminal building is a covered, dedicated, safe 1,000 foot walk which takes approximately four minutes.
