     Effective Date of Rule: Thirty-one days after filing.

     Purpose: Chapter 181-79A WAC, adds new section WAC 181-79A-158 requiring teachers to report address changes to the state teacher certification office.

     Statutory Authority for Adoption: RCW 28A.410.210.

      Adopted under notice filed as WSR 10-11-059 on May 13, 2010.

     Changes Other than Editing from Proposed to Adopted Version: Clarified language related to eligibility for renewals.

NEW SECTION
WAC 181-79A-158   Requirements for providing contact information.   Educators holding certificates shall provide a current mailing address to the superintendent of public instruction. Beginning September, 2010, any change of address shall be communicated to the same office within sixty days.
