Subject: In the matter of the commission's policies relating to implementation of chapter 19.285 RCW.
Effective Date: June 7, 2011.
Document Description: The Washington utilities and transportation commission (commission) describes (1) how the commission, through its staff, will provide technical assistance to utilities and developers of renewable energy projects regarding whether electric generation projects qualify as "eligible renewable resources" under chapters 19.285 RCW and 480-109 WAC and (2) how utilities and developers of projects may file petitions for declaratory orders with the commission on whether such projects are "eligible renewable resources." The commission issued a policy statement on June 7, 2011.
