At present, the public disclosure commission has eight rules under development through permanent rule making and plans to incorporate the recodification of chapter 42.17 RCW throughout TITLE 390 WAC through expedited rule making:
1. Topic: Implementing chapter 145, Laws of 2011.
Status: A CR-101 was filed last June in preparation for rule making to implement chapter 145, Laws of 2011 (ESSB 5021). The commission will likely approve draft language in September.

2. Topic: Adjusting contribution limits.
Status: The commission is required to adjust contribution limits in even-numbered years. A CR-101 was filed in June. The commission will likely review changes in economic factors at the September meeting. Adjustments to dollar amounts will also be considered then.

3. Topic: Adjusting the reporting threshold for
out-of-state political committees.
Status: The commission is required to annually adjust the reporting threshold for major contributions disclosed by an out-of-state political committee. A CR-101 was filed in June. The commission will likely review changes in economic factors at the September meeting and consider changing the reporting threshold.

4. Topic: Recodification of chapter 42.17 RCW.
Status: The commission will proceed with expedited rule making in early November to incorporate the recodification of chapter 42.17 RCW throughout TITLE 390 WAC. No substantive changes will be made to the affected rules.
