PREPROPOSAL STATEMENT OF INQUIRY
Subject of Possible Rule Making: Grievance procedure -- Sexual harassment, sex discrimination, and disability discrimination.
Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 28B.50.140(13).
Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: To protect the rights and dignity of each individual in the campus community.
Process for Developing New Rule: Agency study.
Interested parties can participate in the decision to adopt the new rule and formulation of the proposed rule before publication. Revision of the existing WAC is being studied by various groups on campus that include students, faculty, staff and administrators. Inquiries should be addressed to Dolores M.
