Notice of Interpretive or Policy Statement
In accordance with RCW 34.05.230(12), following is a list
of policy and interpretive statements issued by the health
care authority (HCA).
HCA Legal and Administrative Services
Document Title: Provider Notice #12-50. Subject: Long-term acute care program medicaid provider
guide (MPG).
Effective Date: July 1, 2012.
For this effective date, specific changes to the guide
include:

Clarify requirements for submitting prior
authorization request before admission to an LTAC
hospital. |

Clarify requirements for submitting requests for
extension of LTAC days. |
