INTERPRETIVE OR POLICY STATEMENT
In accordance with RCW 34.05.230(12), following is a list
of policy and interpretive statements issued by the health
care authority (HCA).
Legal and Administrative Services
Subject: Medicare rate for claims submitted for diabetic lancets.
Effective for dates of service on and after October 1, 2012, the medicaid program of the HCA will adopt the medicare rate for claims submitted for diabetic lancets processed in the pharmacy point-of-sale system. The agency will also discontinue payment of dispensing fees for these items.
