     In accordance with RCW 34.05.230(12), following is a list of policy and interpretive statements issued by the health care authority (HCA).

     Subject: Hearing hardware for clients twenty years of age and younger medicaid provider guide.

     To clarify coverage policy on hearing hardware, HCA is replacing the "#" sign indicator in the fee schedule with these abbreviations:


NC Service not covered.
DC Same/similar covered code in fee schedule.
B Bundled with another code.
