The Supreme Court Rules Committee having recommended the adoption of the proposed amendments to the Washington State Bar Association's GR 12.1-Washington State Bar Association: Purposes-Specific Acts Authorized; and the Court having considered the amendments and comments submitted thereto, and having determined that the proposed amendments will aid in the prompt and orderly administration of justice;
Now, therefore, it is hereby
ORDERED:
(a) That the amendments as shown below are adopted.
(b) That the amendments will be published in the Washington Reports and will become effective September 1, 2013.

SUGGESTED AMENDMENT
RULES OF GENERAL APPLICATION (GR)
RULE 12.1 - WASHINGTON STATE BAR ASSOCIATION: PURPOSES
(a) Purposes: In General. [no change]
(b) Specific Activities Authorized. In pursuit of these purposes, the Washington State Bar Association may:
(1) - (21) [no change]
(22) Establish the amount of all license, application, investigation, and other related fees, as well as charges for services provided by the Washington State Bar Association, and Ccollect, allocate, invest, and disburse funds so that its mission, purposes, and activities may be effectively and efficiently discharged. The amount of any license fee is subject to review by the Supreme Court for reasonableness and may be modified by order of the Court if the Court determines that it is not reasonable.
(c) Activities Not Authorized. [no change]
