Title or Subject: Medicaid State Plan Amendment (SPA) 15-0003 Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Rates.

Effective Date: November 1, 2014.

Description: The health care authority intends to submit medicaid SPA 15-0003 to update ABA fee schedule, which will be effective November 1, 2014. This update is due to rate and coding changes. The coding changes reflect new codes implemented by the American Medical Association and the Association for Behavior Analysis International. At this time, the agency is unable to determine whether there will be an increase or decrease in annual aggregate expenditures due to these changes.
