Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: The department is considering proposing revisions to specific sections of chapter 246-834 WAC, Midwives, to update legend drugs and devices to maintain the safety of out of hospital births and to clarify and modernize language to more closely align with agency work. Other Federal and State Agencies that Regulate this Subject and the Process Coordinating the Rule with These Agencies: None. Process for Developing New Rule: Collaborative rule making.
