INTERPRETIVE OR POLICY STATEMENT

In accordance with RCW 34.05.230(12), following is a list of policy and interpretive statements issued by the department of social and health services (DSHS).

Document Title: Public Comment Notice for Proposed Developmental Disabilities Administration HCBS Waiver Amendments.

Subject: Individual and family services (IFS) HCBS waiver amendment #3 and the basic plus, core and community protection (CP) waivers amendments #1 are available for thirty days of public comment from April 12, 2018, to May 12, 2018.

Effective Date: March 21, 2017.

Document Description: DDA within DSHS, in cooperation with the health care authority, is posting for thirty days of public comment four waiver amendments. IFS amendment proposes to increase the number of unduplicated participants. Basic plus, core and CP amendments propose to revise language concerning guardianship fees and their impact on the post-eligibility treatment of income.
