Subject of Possible Rule Making: Towing business requirements.
Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 46.37.005, 46.55.050, 46.55.115.
Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: There is a need to update and clarify the application and qualifications for a letter of appointment in WAC 204-91A-060. Additionally, stakeholders have asked the agency to amend the disqualifications for applicants, partners, corporate officers, and employees.
Other Federal and State Agencies that Regulate this Subject and the Process Coordinating the Rule with These Agencies: Department of licensing.
Process for Developing New Rule: Agency review, the agency plans to work with stakeholders to develop rule language for the CR-102.
