Subject of Possible Rule Making: State work-study program, chapter 250-40 WAC.

Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: Chapters 28B.12, 28B.76, 28B.77 RCW.

Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: Agency seeks to implement efficiencies in the administration of the Washington state work-study program and to clarify eligibility exclusions to work-study financial aid consistent with statute.

Other Federal and State Agencies that Regulate this Subject and the Process Coordinating the Rule with These Agencies: None.

Process for Developing New Rule: Agency study.
