Subject of Possible Rule Making: Add new sections to chapter 456-12 WAC relating to electronic communication from the board.

Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 82.03.170.

Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: To save resources the board will clarify that it may send electronic communications with the same effect as physical mail.

Other Federal and State Agencies that Regulate this Subject and the Process Coordinating the Rule with These Agencies: None.

Process for Developing New Rule: Agency study.
