Adopt rules to support recent legislation which authorizes local governments to, in certain cases, generate revenue for affordable and supportive housing through implementation of a local sales tax that can be credited against the state sales tax with reporting due to commerce.

Commerce may adopt rules to update Energy Independence Act rules to reflect new eligibility of federally owned hydropower to meet renewable targets, starting in 2020.

Chapter 365-220 WAC
Adopt rules for the developmental disability endowment trust fund to clarify when state match and earnings on the match will be retained by the program when an account closes.

Chapter 194-24 WAC
Commerce may adopt rules to update existing appliance efficiency rules that are out of date. 2019 legislation added new products. Water heater interpretation and effective date are likely topics.
