Title of Policy Statement: Enforcement of AIDS Education and Training Rules. Policy Number: HSQA OAS E01.

Issuing Entity: Department of health (DOH), health statistics and quality assurance.

Subject Matter: DOH will not enforce AIDS training, education, and documentation requirements in chapter 246-12 WAC, Part 8, and profession and facility-specific WAC while rules are being repealed to comply with ESHB 1551 enacted in law by the Washington state legislature in 2020.

Effective Date: June 11, 2020.
