Effective Date of Rule: Thirty-one days after filing.

Purpose: Chapter 365-200 WAC, The affordable housing program; the department of commerce is repealing chapter 365-200 WAC to achieve consistency with current statutory authority. Chapter 365-200 WAC was originally adopted under the authority of RCW 43.185.100 and was last updated in March 1992. RCW 43.185.100 was repealed and recodified in 2023; the recodification to chapter 43.185A RCW did not include rule-making authority. The requirements in chapter 365-200 WAC are either included in chapter 43.185A RCW or have been modernized and updated in the RCW and handbook policies. The repeal does not impact regulations.
