PREPROPOSAL STATEMENT OF INQUIRY

This memo serves as notice that the department of health (department) is withdrawing the CR-101 for Emergency department patient care information—Department of health collection—Confidentiality, establishing reporting and data release requirements for emergency department data collection. This data collection and release process is called syndromic surveillance. This CR-101 was filed on October 16, 2017, and published as WSR 17-21-075.

The department is withdrawing this CR-101 because it has been replaced by a new CR-101, filed on August 6, 2025, as WSR 25-17-001, considering the same topic to reflect recent rule-making activity and to update contact information.
