Policy: Employment Standards Policy ES.E.2.
Title: Job Posting Requirements.
Issued: December 3, 2025.
Effective: December 3, 2025.
Description: This new policy provides guidance on job posting requirements in Washington's Equal Pay and Opportunities Act (chapter 49.58 RCW). The guidance found in this policy was previously published in Administrative Policy ES.E.1 "Equal Pay and Opportunities Act." The Equal Pay and Opportunities Act requires employers to be transparent to employees and applicants in their job postings with regard to wage, salary, and benefits. Both employees and applicants have rights under this law. Guidance on equal pay, equal career advancement, open wage discussions, wage and salary history, and retaliation protections in chapter 49.58 RCW can be found in Administrative Policy ES.E.1.

Title: Law Restricting Mandatory Overtime for Certain Healthcare Workers.
Amended: December 3, 2025.
Effective: December 3, 2025.
Description: This policy was amended to update the program subtitle from "Fraud Prevention & Labor Standards" to "Healthcare Labor Standards." There are no other revisions to this policy.
