Policy Statement

Pursuant to RCW 34.05.230, the department of labor and industries' insurance services division issued the following policy statement.

Policy: Insurance Services Policy 91.28.

Title: Conducting the Post Audit Review.

Amended: November 1, 2025.

Description: The amendments to this policy regarding field audit include the following:


•	Removing all references to email and fax.
•	Removing references to chapter 4.28 RCW.
•	Updating the approver to Cindy Gaddis.
•	Removing procedural content that belongs in procedure.
•	Using plain language to describe complex processes.
•	Creating strong and clear policy statements that meet the requirements of the Administrative Procedure Act (chapter 34.05 RCW) and state adopted policy writing guidelines.
