Title of Rule and Other Identifying Information: WAC 308-70-130 Fees—Scrap metal business—Recycler—Processor—Supplier.

Purpose of the Proposal and Its Anticipated Effects, Including Any Changes in Existing Rules: Removing the catalytic converter inspection fees listed in WAC 308-70-130. These fees are set in statute and do not include the scrap metal businesses regulated under chapter 308-70 WAC.

Reasons Supporting Proposal: These specific fees are being repealed to align with statute and reduce confusion due to the rule currently being associated with the wrong business license type.

Statutory Authority for Adoption: RCW 46.01.110 Rule-making authority, and 46.79.160 Catalytic converters—Inspection fee.

Statute Being Implemented: RCW 46.79.160 Catalytic converters—Inspection fee.

Rule is not necessitated by federal law, federal or state court decision.
