POLICY STATEMENT

This memo serves as notice that the department of health (department) is rescinding a policy statement titled "Adequacy Responses for Group A Water Systems," filed May 15, 1997, and published as WSR 97-11-037.

This statement set a standardized process for responding to water system adequacy status requests, based on operating permit categories. The department is rescinding this policy due to the adopted changes to WAC 246-294-040 for operating permit categories. Consequently, this policy statement is no longer necessary.
