PREPROPOSAL STATEMENT OF INQUIRY

Subject of Possible Rule Making: New chapter 110-744 WAC, Rule violation response (RVR) hearings; revised chapter 110-745 WAC, Transfer of individual to the department of corrections; and any other related rules.
Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: Juvenile rehabilitation division (JRD) is creating new chapter 110-744 WAC, Rule violation response (RVR) hearings, to establish the rule violation hearing processes for young people involved with JRD. JRD is also revising chapter 110-745 WAC, Transfer of individual to the department of corrections, for improved clarity and to align with current practice.
