The department of health (department), in consultation with the board of physical therapy (board), is withdrawing the CR-101 for physical therapy licensure compact fee increases, WAC 246-915A-990, which was filed April 7, 2026, and published in WSR 26-09-030.

The department has decided to withdraw this CR-101 and will not amend the compact fees for physical therapists and physical therapist assistants at this time. The department initially filed WSR 26-09-030 to consider amendments to increase the compact fees. After consultation with the board and department fiscal staff, the department determined that raising the compact fees for physical therapists and physical therapist assistants would not meaningfully impact Washington's fiscal obligations as a member state of the physical therapy licensure compact.
