HB 1051 - DIGEST

(SUBSTITUTED FOR - SEE 1ST SUB)

      Prescribes the information to be furnished to the superintendent for registration.

      Directs the superintendent to provide information and assistance to public school districts regarding international student exchange visitors.

      Establishes procedures to handle complaints regarding the operations of the organizations.

      Provides that it is a misdemeanor offense for any organization to place a student in the public schools in violation of the provisions of the act.

      Takes effect January 1, 1992.
